Haverstraw Road runs east as a two-lane undivided road from New City to Haverstraw. Ridge Road (CR 23) begins on the right.

Haverstraw Road ends at a traffic light at Conger Avenue (US 9W). The Hudson River is visible straight ahead. All vehicles must bear left to go north on US 9W. Right turns are prohibited here.
