The Garden State Parkway begins at the New York Thruway (I-87/I-287) and runs south. There is a single unnumbered exit for Red Schoolhouse Road (CR 41). The signage here erroneously refers to School House Road. The parkway continues straight ahead into New Jersey, where it has the unsigned designation of NJ 444.
