North of East Fordham Road (US 1), Southern Boulevard becomes a divided road and is alternatively known as Dr. Theodore Kazimiroff Boulevard. The entrance to the New York Botanical Garden is to the right at the traffic light.

There is a traffic light here at the Mosholu Parkway. Turn left to go north on the parkway. The road straight ahead is considered to be part of both Southern Boulevard and the Mosholu Parkway. It extends east for a short distance to the Bronx Parkway.
