There is a railroad crossing at the Pascack Valley Line of New Jersey Transit. Immediately thereafter, Washington Avenue ends at a traffic light at Broadway. Turn right to stay on CR 502. There is no county route signage, making it easy for motorists following CR 502 to get lost and wind up on Westwood Avenue (CR 110), which is straight ahead, if they don't know where they're going.
