The Fall River Expressway is a north/south highway connecting the Boston area to Fall River and Rhode Island, the island from which the state takes its name. It is designated MA 24 in Massachusetts and RI 24 in Rhode Island. It enters Massachusetts from Rhode Island in Fall River and extends north for a couple of miles to I-195. It is then multiplexed with I-195 for one exit to the east before splitting off and running north to Randolph in the suburbs of Boston, where it ends at the Southeast Expressway (I-93/US 1).
