Kings Highway North begins at Wilton Road (CT 33) in Westport. There is a small bridge over the Saugatuck River.

On the other side of the bridge, there is a traffic light. Kings Highway North splits off to the right to become a local street. Continue straight ahead onto Canal Street to stay on CT 57.

There is a traffic light at CT 136. Turn right onto Compo Road North to go south. Continue straight ahead on Main Street to go north and to stay on CT 57.

The two routes split as Main Street ends at a traffic light. Turn left onto Weston Road using the turning roadway before the light to stay on CT 57. Continue straight ahead onto Easton Road for CT 136.

There is a traffic light at CT 53. Turn left onto Norfield Road to go south. Continue straight ahead on Weston Road to go north and to stay on CT 57.
