There is an intersection with CT 151. Turn left onto Leesville Road to go north on CT 151. Southbound CT 151 is multiplexed with CT 149 straight ahead.

After a distance the two routes split. Turn right onto Town Street to go south on CT 151. Continue straight ahead onto Falls Road to stay on CT 149.

Moodus is a very small town. There are a few stores and a post office in the central area. There is one flasher but no traffic lights.

Past the center of town, the surroundings become most rural. Falls Road runs northeast as a two-lane undivided road.
