In Bridgeport, CT 130 splits into a pair of parallel one-way streets. Eastbound traffic follows Stratford Avenue, while westbound traffic follows Connecticut Avenue.

The eastbound and westbound lanes come back together as Stratford Avenue, which passes under the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95). There is a traffic light at Seaview Avenue under the overpasses. Turn left for a northbound entrance ramp or right for a southbound entrance ramp.

CT 130 runs west through Bridgeport as a two-lane undivided road, changing names from Stratford Avenue to Fairfield Avenue.

Once again, CT 130 follows a pair of parallel one-way streets. Eastbound traffic follows State Street and Water Street, while westbound traffic follows Fairfield Avenue. The westbound alignment is designated SR 700.
