CT 25 is a north-south route in western Connecticut. It begins, multiplexed with CT 8, at the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95) in Bridgeport. It runs north as an unnamed eight-lane expressway. Just south of the Merritt Parkway (CT 15), CT 8 splits off to the east and CT 25 continues north as a six-lane expressway. In Trumbull, the expressway ends and CT 25 runs north along Newtown Turnpike and Main Street to Mount Pleasant Road (US 6). It is multiplexed with US 6 along Mount Pleasant Road for a short distance and then runs north again as Hawleyville Road and Whisconier Road. It ends at Federal Road (US 202) in Brookfield.
