I-64 is an east/west highway extending from the suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, to Chesapeake, Virginia. It enters West Virginia from Kentucky near Huntington and runs east to Charleston. There, it joins I-77 along the West Virginia Turnpike, the main toll highway in the state. The two routes are multiplexed along the turnpike southeast to Beckley, where they split. I-64 continues east to White Sulphur Springs, where it crosses into Virginia.
