VA 267 is a toll highway extending from Leesburg to Falls Church, providing access to Dulles Airport along the way. It begins at the Leesburg Bypass (US 15/VA 7) and runs southeast to end at I-66 just east of the Capital Beltway (I-495). The portion west of the airport is called the Dulles Greenway, while the portion east of the airport is called the Dulles Toll Road. Despite this difference in naming, the entire length is a toll highway. The Dulles Toll Road has express lanes leading directly into the airport with no other entrances when travelling east and no other exits when travelling west. No toll is charged for vehicles using the express lanes.

The Dulles Greenway and the Dulles Toll Road each have their own set of mileposts, with the mileage resetting as VA 267 transitions from one highway to another. However, the exit numbers use one numbering scheme along the entire length of VA 267. That numbering scheme is sequential, which is unusual for Virginia, a state that uses the milepost system.
