RI 112 is a north/south route from Charlestown to Richmond. It begins at Post Road (US 1) and is multiplexed with RI 2 along South County Trail for a couple of miles. Then, it splits off onto Carolina Back Road and continues north, changing names to become Richmond Townhouse Road. It ends at Kingstown Road (RI 138). The entire length is a two-lane undivided road.
