Harris Road is the section of the former alignment of NY 17 prior to the construction of the Quickway (NY 17/Future I-86) in the Town of Liberty. Sullivan Avenue in the Village of Liberty turns into Harris Road at the village line. It runs south for a few miles to the Liberty-Thompson town line, where it becomes Old Route 17 (CR 174).
