CR 86 is a short north/south extending from Dix Hills through Greenlawn to Centerport. It begins at Jericho Turnpike (NY 25) just west of where it crosses Park Avenue (CR 35) and runs north for several miles to end at Main Street (NY 25A). It is known as Broadway for most of its length but eventually changes names to become Centerport Road near the northern end.
