Cross River Drive is the easternmost crossing of the Peconic River. Like Nicolls Road (CR 97) and the William Floyd Parkway (CR 46), Cross River Drive has a combination of traffic lights and grade-separated interchanges. It is relatively short. It begins at Quogue-Riverhead Road (CR 104) in Flanders, just south of Riverhead. It runs east and gradually curves to the north. After intersecting Flanders Road (NY 24), Cross River Drive crosses the Peconic River on a bridge. On the other side, it continues north to Sound Avenue in Northville, where it ends.
