NY 206 is an east/west route extending from Whitney Point to Roscoe. It begins at NY 26 and NY 79, just east of US 11 and I-81. It runs east, eventually entering Catskill State Park. In Downsville, it is multiplexed with NY 30 for a little over a mile and splits off to the south. It ends in Roscoe, where there is an interchange with the Quickway (NY 17/Future I-86).
