NY 116 is an east/west route in the northern area of Westchester County. It begins as Purdys Road at Somerstown Road (US 202) in Somers. It runs east to Purdys, where there is an interchange with I-684. Immediately thereafter, Purdys Road ends at NY 22. The two routes are multiplexed for two blocks to the north, and then NY 116 splits off as Titicus Road, which continues east along the north side of the Titicus Reservoir and then to North Salem, where it is multiplexed with NY 121 for a short distance. It ends at the border with Connecticut, where it becomes North Salem Road (CT 116).
