CR 46 is a short east/west route in Nanuet. It begins at Pascack Road (CR 35) and extends east as Convent Road for about a mile. Convent Road then ends at Old Middletown Road. CR 46 turns north onto Old Middletown Road for one blocks and then ends at Middletown Road (CR 33). The entire length is a two-lane undivided road.

The section of Old Middletown Road north of Convent Road is officially designated as CR 33A in state and county documents, but it is signed as part of CR 46 and therefore treated as such for the purposes of this web site.
