Jackson Avenue is a short route in Queens running diagonally from Vernon Boulevard and Borden Avenue near the East River to the western end of Queens Boulevard (NY 25) at the Queensboro Bridge (NY 25), where it becomes Northern Boulevard. For most of its length, Jackson Avenue is designated NY 25A. However, there is a short section that has no numerical designation between Vernon Boulevard and the point where NY 25A turns onto Jackson Avenue from 21 Street. The entire length is a two-lane undivided road with traffic lights.
