Conduit Boulevard is an extension of North Conduit Avenue (NY 27) and South Conduit Avenue (NY 27) into Brooklyn. It begins at a grade-separated split along Atlantic Avenue and runs southeast. After a mile, it enters Queens. At the borough line, it changes names such that the eastbound lanes become South Conduit Avenue and the westbound lanes become North Conduit Avenue. Linden Boulevard (NY 27) ends at North Conduit Avenue and South Conduit Avenue just east of the borough line, and NY 27 turns onto them to continue east.
Conduit Boulevard was built as the service road for the Bushwick Expressway, an unbuilt highway that would have extended from the Belt Parkway to the Williamsburg Bridge and been part of I-78. It has a large grass median where the expressway would have been.
