These pictures were taken from Carpenters Point, the peninsula formed where the Neversink River empties into the Delaware River. The bridge above carries I-84 over the rivers from New York to Pennsylvania. A stone marker gives the location of the border separating the tip of the peninsula, which is in New Jersey, from the remainder, which is in New York. The triple point where the borders of the three states come together is just feet west of here in the middle of the Delaware River.
