CR 4 is a north/south route from Dover Plains to Wassaic. It begins at a stop sign at Maple Lane where Lime Kiln Road changes names to become Poplar Hill Road. It follows Poplar Hill Road north to where it ends after several miles at Sinpatch Road, which is designated CR 105 west of this intersection. It turns east onto Sinpatch Road, which runs northeast for about half a mile to end at Kent Road (CR 3) and Bog Hollow Road (CR 3).
