Albany Shaker Road is a diagonal route through the suburbs of Albany. It is signed as an east/west route, although it runs southeast and northwest. It begins at Troy-Schenectady Road (NY 7) in Latham. It runs southeast toward Albany International Airport, where it is joined by NY 155. The two routes are multiplexed through the area near the airport and then split just before crossing the Northway (I-87). Albany Shaker Road continue southeast toward Albany. It loses its county route designation at Everett Road (CR 155) and becomes an unnumbered town road for the remainder of its length.
