NJ 45 is a north/south route in South Jersey. It begins at NJ 49 in Salem at the point where it changes names from East Broadway to West Broadway and runs north as a two-lane undivided road through Woodstown and Mullica Hill. North of Mullica Hill, it curves to the northwest and widens to become a four-lane divided road, crossing the New Jersey Turnpike (NJ 700) with no interchange. North of the turnpike, it narrows to two lanes in Woodbury and then widens to four lanes again, this time undivided. There is a partial interchange with the Camden Freeway (I-295), and then NJ 45 merges into US 130.
