NJ 44 is a north/south route running parallel to I-295 in the area where US 130 is multiplexed with the freeway. It is a two-lane undivided road with traffic lights and is known as Crown Point Road for most of its length. The exception is in Gibbstown, where it is known as West Broad Street. It begins at Barker Avenue, just south of an interchange with US 130, and runs northeast, parallel to I-295/US 130 to end at an interchange with it at exit 22.
