Lafayette Street begins at Jackson Street (CR 606) in Cape May and runs north as a two-lane undivided road. There are traffic lights at Ocean Street and Madison Avenue (CR 653).

Sidney Avenue ends after one block at a stop sign. Turn left onto Washington Street to stay on NJ 109.
