CR 546 is an east/west route in Mercer County. The roadway from the Washington Crossing Bridge becomes CR 546 upon crossing River Road (NJ 29). The first section is Washington Crossing-Pennington Road, which extends east to a traffic circle on NJ 31 in Pennington. On the other side, it is known as Blackwell Road. After about half a mile, CR 546 turns from Blackwell Road onto Pennington-Lawrenceville Road, which continues east to US 206 in Lawrence, where it changes names to become Franklin Corner Road. CR 546 ends at Brunswick Pike (US 1), just north of the end of the Trenton Freeway. It is one of the few 500 series routes contained entirely within a single county.
