I-293 is a short loop highway off of I-93 in the vicinity of Manchester. It begins at I-93 in Manchester and runs west for a couple of miles before crossing the Merrimack River to Bedford. This first section is multiplexed with NH 101. On the other side of the river, there is an interchange with the Everett Turnpike. I-293 turns north onto the turnpike, while NH 101 continues west as a surface road. I-293 continues north to Hooksett, where it merges into I-93. The Everett Turnpike continues north as I-93 to Concord.
