MD 273 is an east/west running just south of the border with Pennsylvania. It begins at Rising Sun Bypass (US 1) and runs east through Rising Sun. It is at first known as Rising Sun Road and then as Main Street in the downtown area. Heading out of town, it becomes Telegraph Road and continues east to the border with Delaware, where it becomes Nottingham Road (DE 273).
