MD 151 is a north/south route connecting the Sparrows Point area of Edgemere to Baltimore. Sparrows Point Boulevard exists as a local street for a short distance providing access to the distribution centers in Sparrows Point and then becomes MD 151 at Tradepoint Avenue. It runs north and east for a short distance. Then, Sparrows Point Boulevard splits off to the east as a local street, while MD 151 continues north as North Point Boulevard. It runs next to the Baltimore Beltway (I-695) for a couple of miles and then curves to the west to enter Baltimore. At the city line, it changes names to become North Point Road. It crosses I-95 and the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel Thruway (I-895), but there is no interchange with either. Immediately thereafter, it crosses Pulaski Highway (US 40) at a grade-separated interchange and changes names to become Erdman Avenue. Truck US 40 begins at this point and follows MD 151 for the remainder of its length. MD 151 ends at Belair Road (US 1). Erdman Avenue continues as a local street in Baltimore, while Truck US 40 follows US 1 to the south.
