MD 7 is the designation for the old east/west routes that have been bypassed by Pulaski Highway (US 40). It is divided into several sections that are separated by portions of US 40 and assigned letter designations in state documents, although they are all signed simply as MD 7. Section A is a loop off of US 40 through Havre de Grace. The first section, Revolution Street, begins at US 40 and runs east into the downtown area. There, MD 7 turns north onto Union Avenue. Near the waterfront, it passes under the Amtrak bridge over the Susquehanna River, curves back to the west, and changes names to become Otsego Street. It ends back at a traffic light at US 40 where Ohio Street (MD 155) begins.
