MA 88 is a north/south route connecting Horseneck Beach State Reservation to I-195. It is a four-lane divided highway near its northern end and narrows down to two lanes further south. There are grade-separated interchanges at State Road (US 6) and MA 177, as well as a few traffic lights at various points. Just before the southern terminus, there is a drawbridge leading to Horseneck Beach.
