I-495 is a semicircular highway looping around Boston at about a 25-mile radius. MA 25 turns into I-495 at its western terminus where I-195 also begins. I-495 runs northwest to Mansfield, where there is an interchange with I-95, and then to Hopkinton, where there is an interchange with the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90). It then curves back to the northeast, crossing US 3 and I-93 north of Boston. It ends at I-95 in Salisbury, just south of the state line where it crosses into New Hampshire.
