I-395 is a north/south highway extending from East Lyme, Connecticut, to Auburn, Massachusetts. For most of its length, it is in Connecticut, but the northernmost piece is in Massachusetts. It runs north from the state line to the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90), where it changes designation to become I-290. The mileposts and exit numbers from I-395 continue onto I-290.
