I-195 is an east/west route from Providence to Cape Cod. It begins at I-95 and crosses the border into Massachusetts from Rhode Island after a couple of miles. It continues east, curving south to Fall River and New Bedford and then north again to Wareham, where it ends at the southern terminus of I-495 and western terminus of MA 25. Motorists bound for Cape Cod can continue on MA 25 to the bridges.
