CT 9 is an expressway in southeastern Connecticut. It provides a connection between the Hartford area and the eastern section of the Connecticut shore. It begins at the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95/US 1) in Old Saybrook and runs to the northwest, along the west side of the Connecticut River. In Cromwell, it intersects I-91. It then continues to the northwest, ending at the Yankee Expressway (I-84) in West Hartford.
