There is a small bridge. On the other side, New Haven Avenue becomes Broad Street. The first block of Broad Street is one-way in the opposite direction, so all vehicles are forced to turn right here onto Daniel Street.

Broad Street runs west through Milford. The eastbound and westbound lanes are separated by the Milford Green.

At the end of the green, turn left to stay on CT 162. Route signage is completely lacking at this intersection. Golden Hill Street is straight ahead.

CT 162 ends at a traffic light at US 1. Turn right onto Boston Post Road to go north. Continue straight ahead on Bridgeport Avenue to go south.
