CT 160 is an east/west route from Berlin to Glastonbury. It is divided into two sections, one on each side of the Connecticut River. A ferry connects the two sections during the summer months. It begins at the Berlin Turnpike (US 5/CT 15) in Berlin and follows Deming Road and New Britain Avenue until Cromwell Avenue (CT 3). It is multiplexed with CT 3 southbound along Cromwell Avenue for one block and then splits off onto Elm Street to continue east. At CT 99, Elm Street becomes Glastonbury Avenue. Near the river, Glastonbury Avenue ends. CT 160 follows Meadow Road and Ferry Lane for a short distance to the ferry. On the other side of the river, CT 160 follows Ferry Lane, Tryon Street, and Water Street to its eastern terminus at Main Street (CT 17) in Glastonbury.
