CT 68 is an east/west route extending from Naugatuck to Durham. It begins at Church Street (CT 63) and crosses a bridge over the Naugatuck River. On the other side, there is an interchange with the Ansonia-Derby Expressway (CT 8). It continues east through Prospect to Cheshire, where it is multiplexed with CT 10 for a couple of blocks to the south. It then turns east again. In Yalesville, it crosses the Wilbur Cross Parkway (CT 15) and North Colony Road (US 5) just south of the point where they cross. After a little over a mile, it has an interchange with I-91. It continues east to Durham, where it ends at Main Street (CT 17).
