CT 322 is an east/west route extending from Wolcott to Southington, near the border with Meriden. It begins at Wolcott Road (CT 69) and follows Center Street, County Road, and East Street to the southeast before turning east onto Meriden Road, which changes names to become Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike upon entering Southington. There is an interchange with the Yankee Expressway (I-84) just north of the point where I-691 splits off. Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike continues east, running to the north of I-691, and then curves to the southeast to end at exit 5 of I-691. There, it becomes West Main Street, an unnumbered town road.
