Lake Welch Drive begins at Seven Lakes Drive and runs east as a two-lane undivided road.

St. Johns Road begins on the right here and extends to Kanawauke Road (CR 106), which the sign references as "Route 210." The NY 210 designation along present-day CR 106 was decommissioned in 1972.

Lake Welch Drive widens to become a four-lane divided highway with a grass median. There is an uncontrolled intersection at the entrance to Lake Welch Beach.

Lake Welch Drive becomes a divided highway with a grass median again. Tiorati Brook Road merges in from the left. There is a turnaround providing access to Tiorati Brook Road.

Lake Welch Drive ends here, merging into the southbound side of the Palisades Parkway. Motorists wishing to go north must continue to the new exit and turn around.
