Taconic Parkway
Northbound Views
The Taconic Parkway begins at the Kensico Dam Plaza traffic circle where the Bronx Parkway ends. The first section is a narrow four-lane divided road with traffic lights. There is a traffic light at Cleveland Street.

Legion Drive (CR 29) passes over the parkway, but there is no interchange.

The Taconic Parkway merges with the Sprain Parkway, which has its northern terminus here, to form a proper parkway. There is advance signage for exits 2-3 before the merge.
