The Colonel Rodman Highway is a short expressway connecting I-95 to Tower Hill Road (US 1) in North Kingstown. It is controlled-access for most of its length, although there are a couple of traffic lights near the southern terminus. Together with RI 138, it forms the most direct route between Newport and Providence.
