Croton Point Avenue begins at Croton Point Park. There is a long overpass crossing the Hudson Line of the Metro-North Railroad.

At the end of the overpass, there is a stop sign. The Croton-Harmon train station is to the right. CR 7A ends here. Croton Point Avenue continues straight ahead as CR 7.
