These pictures show the Jones Beach Causeway southbound as it appeared in 2009. At the time, there were fee booths along the parkway where motorists could stop and pay the vehicle use fee for Jones Beach. There was a fee booth bypass on the left for motorists heading to Captree State Park and Robert Moses State Park. The middle bridge on the causeway was a drawbridge at the time. It has since been replaced with a new bridge that is not movable.
