Northbound Views
I-87 begins at the Bruckner Expressway (I-278), just north of the RFK Bridge. The section in the Bronx is called the Major Deegan Expressway. Exit 2 is for Willis Avenue and the Third Avenue Bridge.

Exit 12 is for the Henry Hudson Parkway south and the Saw Mill Parkway north. The exit actually leads to the Mosholu Parkway, which ends at the Henry Hudson Parkway. The Henry Hudson Parkway becomes the Saw Mill Parkway at the Bronx-Westchester county line, just north of its interchange with the Mosholu Parkway.
