CR 50 is a continuation of Jackson Corners Road (Columbia CR 2) into Dutchess County. Jackson Corners Road dips into Dutchess County for a little bit less than a mile in Red Hook. It changes designation to become Dutchess CR 50 and then becomes Columbia CR 2 again as it returns to Columbia County. About a mile to the east, Jackson Corners Road ends at a three-way intersection along the Dutchess-Columbia county line. Dutchess CR 50 begins again, now known as Mount Ross Road, and runs southeast to end at NY 199 in Pine Plains.
