NJ 34 is a north/south route on the Jersey Shore. It begins at NJ 35 and NJ 70 in Wall and runs northeast as a four- to six-lane divided highway. After a couple of miles, it has an interchange with the Garden State Parkway (NJ 444). Just past the parkway, I-195 ends at NJ 34 and becomes NJ 138. NJ 34 continues north to Howell, where is it multiplexed with NJ 33. After about half a mile, it splits off and becomes a two-lane undivided road. It continues northeast to Old Bridge, where is ends at US 9. NJ 34 has no name and is known solely by its number.
