There is a traffic light at Barnum Avenue (US 1). Turn left to go south or right to go north.

Main Street passes under the New Haven Line of the Metro-North Railroad and the Connecticut Turnpike (I-95). There is no interchange. The Stratford train station is to the left at the tracks.
